Purpose
Parky is an iPhone app published by Mohammed Ali Nader. It saves a vehicle’s location and guides you back to it.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on devices you own, subject to Apple’s App Store terms.
You may not decompile, disassemble or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by law. You may not resell, rent or redistribute it.
What the app does not guarantee
Parky is a memory aid, not a security system. The accuracy of a position depends on the satellite signal, on the surroundings — an underground car park degrades GPS badly — and on your device settings.
The app does not guarantee that a parking spot is legal, nor that a meter reminder will reach you: a notification can be delayed, disabled in settings, or missed. You remain solely responsible for parking rules and paid durations.
Automatic detection relies on operating system signals. It may fail to trigger, or trigger wrongly. It does not replace saving manually.
Subscriptions and purchases
Parky offers optional features gathered under the name Parky Pro, available as a monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple account on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically on identical terms unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the twenty-four hours before the period ends.
Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription before it ends. The 3-day trial becomes a paid subscription if it is not cancelled beforehand.
Management and cancellation happen in your Apple account settings, on your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We have no way to act on a subscription for you.
The lifetime purchase is a single purchase with no renewal. It can be restored on your devices with the “Restore purchases” button.
Withdrawal and refunds
Because purchases are made through Apple, refund requests are handled by Apple under its own terms, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We issue no refunds directly.
For consumers in the European Union, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied immediately after purchase with your express consent.
Changes to the app
The app evolves. Features may be added, changed or removed. If a feature covered by an active subscription were to disappear lastingly, we would tell you inside the app.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from use of the app, in particular a parking fine, a tow, a delay or the loss of a vehicle.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, in particular the statutory guarantee of conformity.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, interface, illustrations and mascot are protected. No rights are transferred to you beyond the licence described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts will be seised. A consumer residing in the European Union keeps the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
